Day 1: Marrakech » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley [332 km]
We will start our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes from your hotel or riad in the city of Marrakech to the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah (a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987) through the Tizi-Ntichka pass and the High Atlas mountain.
After a long drive, you will stop to visit Ait Ben Haddou and the movie studio, where many world cinema superstars have filmed blockbuster movies (such as Gladiator and The Mummy). Then we continue to Ouarzazate for lunch.
In the afternoon, we head to the Skoura Oasis (a small village), then continue to the city of roses through the Valley of the Roses, and directly to the Dades Gorges for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel/riad. The end of our first day of the 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes.
Day 2: Dades Valley »Todra Gorges » Merzouga Desert » [272 km ]
The second day of our tour from Marrakech to the desert to Fes in 3 days will be a great and fantastic adventure from here to a camp in the desert. After that, we continue the road to Tinghir, a small Berber village, named after the Berber language, meaning “shoulder.” In Tinghir, which was a military post during the French colonization, after lunch in one of the local cafes, we continue to the city of Erfoud, the capital of marble fossils. We visit the fossil place, then continue through a rocky terrain to the Merzouga desert, where our camel will be waiting for you. Enjoy a camel ride over sand dunes, watching the sunset and taking beautiful photos. The camel guide will assist you. After an amazing sunset, head to the desert camp, enjoy dinner under the star filled sky, touch traditional nomadic music, and dance around the campfire.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert » Ziz Valley » Midelt » Azrou » Ifran » Fes [463 km]
After an early wake-up to enjoy the incredible sunrise and a delicious breakfast at the desert camp, the camel guide takes you back on a camel, and the driver will be waiting for you to enjoy the 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.
