Tour Plan:

Day 1: Marrakech » Tizi n’Tichka » Ouarzazate » Dades Gorges [335 km]

After picking you up from your hotel/riad or the airport, we’ll head towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, we’ll cross the High Atlas through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka pass, at an altitude of 2,260 meters, making stops to enjoy the incredible views. After crossing the Atlas, we’ll reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an incredible fortified city featured in movies like Gladiator, Babe, and Lawrence of Arabia. Following the visit, we’ll take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Skoura, where we’ll stop at the Amredhyle Kasbah. Continuing to Kelaat M’gouna, the capital of the Rose Valley, known for its pink hues and delightful fragrance in spring. We’ll visit shops dedicated to the production and sale of rose water, soaps, and cosmetics. Our journey continues to the Dades Gorges, where we’ll stay overnight in a hotel/riad with dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorges » Todra Gorges » Merzouga Desert [272 km]

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Dades Valley and cross the impressive Todra Gorges, where we’ll spend time until lunch. Energized, we’ll drive to Merzouga, passing through the Jorf Palm Grove, reputed for its finest dates, and Erfoud, a charming village with a marble workshop. Upon arriving in Merzouga and marveling at its stunning dunes, we’ll leave our vehicle to venture into the desert on camelback in search of the camp where we’ll spend the night. At this camp, enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all of Morocco amidst the dunes under the starlit sky.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert » Alnif » Agdz » Ouarzazate [364 km]

A sunrise in the desert is an unmissable experience, so we’ll rise early. After witnessing this magical moment, we’ll ride camels to a hotel for showers and breakfast. Returning to Ouarzazate, we’ll take a different route, passing through the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the town of Rissani (origin of the Alaouite dynasty and former capital of the Alaouite sultans). We’ll reach Alnif, taking the road through the Anti Atlas mountain range. Enchanted by the shapes and colors of these mountains, we’ll arrive at Tazarine, a significant Berber village, N’kob, and finally, the Draa Valley with its astonishing palm grove. In the afternoon, we will cross the Anti-Atlas via the Tizi-Tenift Pass at an altitude of 1660 metres, heading to Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night in a riad/hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Hadou » Tizi n’Tichka » Marrakech [194km]

After breakfast, we’ll have time to visit the famous Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Film Studios, the most significant in Africa. Traveling back to Marrakech, we’ll admire the beauty of the mountains adorned with Berber villages and the contrasts of the High Atlas. We’ll reach Marrakech around 5:00 PM. Farewell, accommodation, and the end of our services.
