Day 1 : Tangier » Chefchaouen » Fes [305 km]

Your adventure begins with best Morocco travel as we will pick you up from your hotel or airport, for our 6 days tour from Tangier. Go on a journey through the stunning Rif mountains, passing Tetouan, en route to the captivating “Blue City” of Chefchaouen. Here, you will have ample free time to explore the town’s narrow blue and white streets, capture picturesque moments, and visit old medina.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, perhaps in the renowned Plaza Uta el-Hammam Square. Later, we will head to Fes, relishing scenic views of the Rif mountains and lush northern Moroccan landscapes along the way. Arriving in Fes by late afternoon, you will stay overnight in a beautifully decorated hotel or riad.

Day 2: Sightseeing Fes with a Local Guide

After breakfast, we will join a certified local guide to explore the ‘world’s oldest living city’. Our journey takes us through a captivating walking tour of Medina. We will stroll through its bustling souks, glimpse the entrance to the royal palace, and marvel at the 9th-century Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University. In honor of the city’s founder, we will visit the tomb of Moulay Idriss. 

Lunch awaits you at a charming restaurant within the historic Medina. Our adventure continues by visiting the Batha Museum, the ancient Harem Garden, and the Carpenters’ Fountain. With the day over, we will head back to the Riad/hotel.

Day 3: Fes » Ifrane » Azrou » Ziz Valley » Merzouga Desert [470 km]

On your 6 days tour from Tangier, this day route leads us through the middle Atlas mountains, treating you to scenic drives amidst Berber villages. Our first stop will be in the captivating city of Ifrane, often referred to as the “Moroccan Switzerland.” 

Journeying onward, we reach Azrou’s famed cedar forest, a habitat for local monkeys. Continuing our trek, we arrive in Midelt, offering a lunch break. 

Southbound, Erfoud awaits. Renowned place for fossils and its annual festival dates market. Our drive through the picturesque Ziz Valley presents panoramic oasis views. As the sun sets, the awe-inspiring Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga beckon, where a night stay in a Merzouga desert at a hotel awaits, with the fulfilling dinner.

Day 4: Merzouga Sightseeing [80 km]

Our driver will pick you up with a 4×4 to start visiting the Erg Chebbi dunes. Our trip leads to Merzouga Oasis, unveiling its irrigation canal and agricultural landscapes. If water permits, a visit to the seasonal Sriji lake awaits. Our route carries us to Khamlia village, where the entrancing Gnawa music of dark-skinned immigrants echoes through history. En route, we explore M’ifis mines, renowned for minerals and fossils.

During this desert odyssey, we visit a nomad Berber family dwelling within the Sahara heart. Savor mint tea, gaining insight into desert life. Stops at panoramic viewpoints offer moments to capture the scenic beauty. Following lunch at a local restaurant. 

Later a camel trekking to our luxury desert Camp, with the ride lasting around 1 to 2 hours. A sunset atop the dunes, sandboarding for the adventurous, and breathtaking vistas awaits here.

Upon camp arrival, a warm tea welcome sets the tone. Relax until dinner, where traditional Berber drumming serenades the night. The starlit sky paints an enchanting backdrop, as you retire beneath the comfort of a nomadic tent.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert » Todgha Gorge » Dades Valley [270 km]

As the sun graces the desert with its morning glow, seize the opportunity for a captivating sunrise experience near the camp. Following this enchanting moment, enjoy a hearty breakfast and refresh with a shower at the camp. Later we go on a camel ride or on 4WD back to the starting point, where your driver awaits.

Continuing your 6 days Moroccan journey, we will explore the vibrant weekly market of Rissani. Passing through Berber villages like Touroug and Tinjdad, you’ll reach Tinghir, a gateway to the stunning Todra Valley adorned with palm trees and lush greenery.

Todra Gorge, nestled beneath the High Atlas Mountains—a haven for rock climbers. Ample free time lets you explore the towering canyons. Following a leisurely lunch, we will start our journey to Boumalne Dades and then proceed to Dades Valley. Here, your accommodation at a hotel/riad and the dinner with overnight stay.

Day 6: Dades Gorge » Ouarzazate » Ait ben Haddou » Marrakech [330 km]

On the final day of your 6 days tour from Tangier, the journey shifts towards Marrakech. En route, you will traverse through Kalaat M’gouna, the Rose Valley, and the Skoura palm grove. Pause to explore Kasbah Taourirte and Ouarzazate’s film studios (optional).

The next highlight is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famed for its ancient kasbah. This historic location has served as a backdrop for renowned films, such as Gladiator and Sahara. Enjoy a leisurely lunch.

We will cross the High Atlas mountains and ascend Tizi N’tichka, the highest road pass in Morocco, reaching 2260 meters above sea level. Marvel at panoramic views of valleys, mountains, and Berber villages.
