Day 1 : Tangier » Chefchaouen » Fes [309 km]

On the first day of your Morocco journey, we will meet at the Tangier port or airport or accommodation. Our adventure begins as we traverse the picturesque Rif mountains and pass through the city of Tetouan, offering you beautiful mountain views along the way. Our final destination is Chefchaouen, an impressive village nestled at the base of the Rif Mountains.

Once we step into Chefchaouen Medina, you will discover a central square with a Spanish-style vibe, surrounded by numerous craft workshops and delightful shops. This is where you will also find some of the best restaurants and cafes to enjoy.

Our journey will then take us to Volubilis, passing through Wazan and other charming Rif towns. Volubilis is a significant Roman archaeological site that unveils a part of Morocco historical past. After exploring the ruins, we will head to the nearby historic city of Meknes. Here, we will pause for a satisfying lunch, take a leisurely stroll along the Medina’s walls, explore the grand Bab El Mansour gate, and visit the sanctuary of Moulay Ismail.

After our time in Meknes, we will make our way directly to the city of Fes, where you will spend the night in a Riad. This marks the beginning of your exploration of this captivating city, celebrated for its cultural and architectural treasures.

2 Day: Fes Sightseeing with a Local Guide

After savoring a delightful breakfast at your riad, your day in the oldest city in Morocco begins with a stroll through its historic streets and charming alleys. Our guided tour will commence with visits to several significant landmarks, including the Royal Palace, the iconic Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish quarter, and the very first Mellah constructed in Morocco during the 16th century.

We’ll ensure that you explore all the sites with cultural and historical significance. This includes a visit to the renowned Al Qaraouine University, which holds the distinction of being the oldest in Africa, the intriguing tanneries, the captivating Attarine Museum, and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum.

3 Day: Fes » Ifrane » Azrou » Ziz Valley » Merzouga Desert [477 km]

Following breakfast at your hotel, your journey will lead you to Merzouga. The route takes us through Ifrane and the captivating Tiz Ntalghamt pass, allowing you to traverse the stunning Gorges of the Ziz. Along the way, you will witness the transformation of the landscape, gradually revealing the desert distinctive features as you approach Errachidia.

Continuing your journey, you will follow the lush Ziz Valley, with intermittent stops along the route to Erfoud and Rissani, where you will be treated to various panoramic vistas. Upon arriving in Merzouga, you will be warmly greeted with a traditional glass of mint tea as a sign of welcome.

Following breakfast, our journey continues as we traverse the Saghro mountains en route to Tinghir. Along the way, we will go on a brief walk through the picturesque Todra Gorges before progressing to the Dades Valley, where you will enjoy dinner and find comfortable accommodation for the night. This day promises a delightful blend of natural wonders and cultural experiences in the Moroccan landscape.

5 Day: Dades Valley » Roses Valley » Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Haddou » Marrakech [330 KM]

After breakfast at your hotel, we will set out on a journey through the Dades Valley toward Kelaa Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The tour through the Dades Valley, often referred to as the Path of a Thousand Kasbahs, offers numerous opportunities for capturing some of the most captivating photographs of the trip, along with the neighboring Valley of Roses.

Our journey continues to the city of Ouarzazate, renowned for its film studios and contributions to the world of cinema. En route to Marrakech, you will have the chance to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco. It was constructed by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs, during the early 20th century. This Kasbah used to be one of the stops on the long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

As you cross the High Atlas, you will witness a dramatic change in the landscape, encountering stunning panoramic views and Berber villages, until you finally reach Marrakech. Your accommodation for the night will be in a Riad, offering a comfortable and culturally rich stay in this vibrant city.

6 Day: Marrakech Sightseeing

On this day, following breakfast at the Riad, you will go on an exploration of Marrakech, often referred to as “the red city.” Our itinerary will encompass visits to the city’s most prominent and culturally significant sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, the iconic Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the splendid Bahia Palace.

After a satisfying lunch at a restaurant near the renowned Jemma El-Fna Square, our journey continues to the bustling souks, where you will have the opportunity to peruse a variety of handcrafted goods. In the afternoon, you’ll have some free time to further explore different facets of this vibrant city.
