Day 1: Tangier » Chefchaouen [112 km]

We will pick you up from your chosen location whether that’s your accommodation, the airport, or the port. This captivating city is located where the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet at Cape Spartel. Our exploration begins with the attraction of Tangier, followed by a visit to the mysterious Cave of Hercules and the picturesque Cape Spartel.

The lunch period provides an opportunity to taste the local cuisine. Next, we venture inland, heading towards Chefchaouen. On the way, the city of Tetouan and the Rif mountains open before us, adorning us with their beauty.

Day 2: Chefchaouen Sightseeing

Day 6: Merzouga Sightseeing [60 km]

Today, after breakfast at your hotel, we will venture into the world of the dunes of Erg Chebbi and the surrounding city. Our first stop will be to visit the Bedouins of the Sahara Desert, where you will have the honor of sharing tea and conversations in their traditional Berber tents. Afterward, we will immerse ourselves in the rhythmic melodies and cultural richness of Khamliya, a Gnaoua village, and indulge in a lunch full of local flavors.

The afternoon reveals a unique experience as we deposit our car in Merzouga and go on the best camel trek meandering through the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes. On top of the towering dunes, the sun will unfold in all its splendor.

Day 7: Merzouga Sahara » Rissani » Erfoud » Todra Gorges » Dades Gorges [271 km]

After an enjoyable breakfast, our journey continues as we bid farewell to the desert and head to Rissani, the historical capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a bustling commercial center and is particularly lively on market days (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). Stroll through the vibrant market before we head to Erfoud, where you will have the chance to visit a workshop that specializes in petrified marble.

Our path leads us through the picturesque palm groves of Torug and Tengdad to the majestic Todra Gorge. Carved out by the Todra River, these towering red cliffs form a dramatic valley a rock climber’s paradise. Feel free to roam through the valleys, and enjoy the amazing natural beauty. 

Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants before continuing our journey to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Our final stop offers a captivating view of the Monkey Toes rock formation and a panoramic view of the Dades Valley. Day 8: Dades Gorges » Roses Valley » Skoura » Ouarzazate [140 km]

After a delicious breakfast at your riad in Dades, we will move to Makouna Castle to explore the Rose Valley. Famous for its annual Rose Festival in May, which showcases various rose products. 

We continue driving through the Skoura palm groves to visit the Kasbah of Amridelle. Our journey takes us to Ouarzazate, where the famous cinema studios are located, and the Kasbah of Taourirt awaits us. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 9: Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Haddou » Telouet » Marrakech [192 km]

After breakfast, we head to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its appearance in films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. We also visit Kasbah Telouet before crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-en-Tichka Pass on our way to Marrakesh.

Day 10: Marrakech sightseeing with a Local Guide

Day 11: Marrakech » Essaouira [191 km]

Arriving in Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, we will explore the fishing port, the ancient canyon walls, and the attractive old town. You will spend a night in Essaouira enjoying the unique atmosphere and charm of the city.
